Dr. Majed Elwardy is an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH), Karlskrona, Sweden. He previously served as a research assistant at the Signal Processing and Information Systems (SPIS) Laboratory at Sabancı University, Turkey, and held teaching assistant positions in both the Electronics Engineering and Mathematics departments at the same institution. Prior to that, he was a teaching and research assistant in the Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering at Mansoura University, Egypt. Dr. Elwardy’s research interests lie at the intersection of Statistical Signal Processing, Machine Learning, Virtual Reality, Human–Computer Interaction, Extended Reality (XR) applications, and Brain–Computer Interfaces. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications and Information Engineering from Mansoura University (2011), a Master of Science degree in Electronics Engineering from Sabancı University (2016), and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from BTH (2025).
